Key to the role is the ability to understand the customer and their business issues and how to develop a compelling technical and fully costed solution for them. With management of a regional team this role requires the ability to operate at many levels within Orange and customer organisations to ensure a successful outcome is achieved.

Responsible for:
• Development of the company three year strategy to produce a future web-centric product platform. Using J2EE and Web Services this enabled customers to offer a wider range of services, giving greater visibility of their costs and billing, and allowing documents to be securely shared. Significant operational costs were anticipated to be saved as a result. This service was planned to provide an elegant online replacement to the existing postal based software maintenance approach.

• Development and rollout of a common development model across the group. With the recent acquisition of three companies I identified the need to quickly rollout a common development model across the company.

• Change, restructure and all people management issues

• Ongoing management of existing Solution 6 product set development
