Today, I am a Supply Chain and Procurement Analyst for a market leader in the Supply Chain and Procurement consulting industry in the APAC region

Finally I am also passionate about the sustainable development and I have a strong personal interest in sustainable supply chains

Double master full-time student in a Master of Engineering (Integrated Logistics Management) and Master of Commerce
Research Thesis written on the topic "Developing and Integrating rolling highways in Australia or how can the Sustainable Development serve the Supply Chain improvement" as part of the requirement for the completion of the Master of Engineering (Integrated Logistics Management).

Achievements

* Collecting data, reading and analysing through 95 documents in 2 languages for a total of over 6500 pages.
* Written a 20000 words research thesis, out of which has been:
- Described accurately the entire Australia Freight Task.
- Described processes and technologies of Rolling Highways in different countries across the world and identified key success factors.
- Determined costs of such technology in Australia and compare them to the current overall transportation costs.
- Analysed the feasibility of implementing such a sustainable technology in Australia based on previous founding concerning the freight task and the costs.
- Investigated the actual benefits and foreseen development barriers to sustainable transport technologies.
* Thesis awarded with High Distinction.

2007 - 2008

In charge of establishing a previously non-existent logistics department of this small company, in order to increase the productivity and the profitability of this successful business of medical equipment exportation.


Achievements
* Hired and trained 2 staff members.
* Wrote specifications and implemented the new Inventory Management System.
* Negotiated contracts with providers and suppliers:
- Reduced the cost of transport to the company by 50% (negotiated fixed price contracts and passed on the cost to customers).
- Established a cost of packaging and set up an algorithm to bill every customer accordingly (potentially 100% of this cost is now included in the final bill).
- Negotiated a supply contract for overseas packaging and an agreeable scale of costs from which could be estimated the yearly costs.

* Establish a viable Logistics Department.
* Reduce financial losses through efficient inventory and supplier management.
* Undertake the process of sourcing a new Information System to manage the Inventory.
* Hire and Train staff.
* Broke down total cost incurred, negotiate contracts with supplier and established a process whereby selected costs were passed onto the client to cut the company’s cost.

Medical Equipment
2006 - 2007

In charge of establishing a standard scheduling process for all the machining departments of the powertrain plants worldwide. This standard process was a pre-requisite of the implementation of the new scheduling system in order to reduce stock levels by about 23%.

Achievements

* Established the standard process for scheduling the production on the machining lines and led the change management in plants (15 lines in 3 different plants standardised out of 300 lines worldwide in August 2007).
* Designed and implemented a training manual for existing staff in the new process and displayed it in the plants (responsible for training 4 out of the 31 staff).
* Identified the best practices and wrote down the new procedures issued with the new process for the schedulers (21 procedures approved out of 21 by the representatives of the 11 plants’ logistics departments).

Key Responsibilities

* Established a standard process for scheduling the machining line, in the powertrain plants through the ERP.
* Wrote down the appropriate user manual for the current scheduling system.
* Implemented the new process on few pilot lines to check the relevance of it and to prepare the change management for all the other lines.
* Identified scheduling best practices, wrote down the procedures and had them approved by the plants’ representatives.

Automobile
2004 - 2006

In charge of setting up the brand new warehouse, in order to evacuate the finished goods and raw material from the main workshop. Once the workshop would have been cleared, a relaying out was necessary in order to improve productivity.

Achievements

* A 600M² warehouse completely set up (budget: €60,000) and operational with trained staff.
* Drafting and engineering of the relaying out of the workshop and investment for a budget of about €30,000, in order to increase productivity by 2.5 and adapt the workstation to safety standards.
