2010 - 2011Though my general mission was to ensure the successful development of Photon's business, my specific assignments included (but were not limited to):
Project and portfolio management
- Manage custom product development projects. Coordinate a R&D team composed of software, electronical, optical and mechanical experts from projects' kick-off to lessons learned.
- Participate in strategic decision and actions of executive commitee with CEO, CTO and Director of operations. Manage a balanced portfolio of projects and set priorities with management team.
Corporate communications
- Manage the implementation of corporate communication plan with sales and marketing department. Create and distribute press releases to specialized medias. Edit quarterly web newsletter, answer media enquiries and improve overall visibility of our products.
Business development
- Manage custom proposals process and create business opportunities by networking. Evaluate niche markets for potential applications of our technology. Create and manage action plans to promote and increase sales in targeted markets.
