Pierre de Lamberterie
Process control Engineer
Hi everyone,
I am currently working for Boeing R&D Australia through the ARC Centre for Complex Dynamic Systems and Control in Newcastle where i am doing PhD in Mechatronics. The project I am involved in focuses on the integration of autonomous unmanned aircrafts into the traffic. More specifically, how to quantify robust autonomy. This project is research oriented and I work on developing flight control systems as well as investigating ways to define safety norms for unmanned aircrafts.
Dont hesitate ton contact me for more information or if you think I could help you.
Warm regards,
Pierre

2009 - 2010CDSC is a kind of lab in the University of Newcastle (NSW, Australia).
I was working on a project for a company called Hydro (hydro.com/en).
This is an industrial based project consisting of two main aspects:
Investigating the cause of a large period
oscillation observed in the temperature of molten Aluminium at a
local manufacturing plant in Kurri Kurri, and developing strategies to reduce the amplitude of the oscillation.
Within this context the specific objectives will be:
- Analysis of the temperature data.
- Correlation analysis with other plant data and events.
- Investigation of possible causes.
- Simulation studies to verify cause.
- Development of strategies to reduce the amplitude of the
oscillation.
6 months project. Fabrication of an on board treatment unit and regulation of industrial devices using wireless communication.
Conception and realization of electronic cards.
