Sales professional Vic Mankotia currently serves CA Technologies as Vice President of Security Sales for Asia Pacific and Japan. Headquartered in Islandia, New York, CA Technologies is a major management software and solutions company that enables customers to deliver faster and more flexible services to their businesses as well as manage and secure Information Technology environments. In this role, Vic Mankotia reports directly to the company President and the North American General Manager. Based in Melbourne, Australia, Vic Mankotia leads the Security sales team and ensures that mature security solutions, including DLP, Soft Tokens, Content Aware IAM, and Identity Management, make it to the market. In addition, Vic Mankotia searches for new business opportunities in which to place emerging solutions, such as Security in the Virtual, Cloud, and Hybrid. Vic Mankotia also takes responsibility for leading the Pre-Sales Engineering teams, which includes Emerging Technologies, Pre-Sales Engineers, and the Business Unit Practices.
Prior to joining CA Technologies, Vic Mankotia served Symantec Corporation from 2000 to 2010, where he fulfilled several positions of increasing responsibility. Vic Mankotia’s titles at Symantec included Director for Internet Service Provider Business Line of Business for Asia Pacific; Enterprise Sales Director at Symantec for Australia; Senior Director Sales & Services; Senior Director Symantec Enterprise Administration; and Vice President, Security & Services, Asia Pacific and Japan. In each of these roles, he contributed significantly to the company’s operations and gained a well-deserved reputation for being a leader in his field.
From 1999 to 2000, Vic Mankotia served IBM Australia as Business Development Manager and Software Spectrum as National Account Development Manager. He holds membership in various professional organizations, including the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals and the Australian Institute of Management.
