Joined the LORADS-III program consisting in delivering an Air Traffic Management System for Singapore.

• Wrote functional and user interface software specifications as well as unit tests for the HMI component of the System.
• Wrote System Segment Specifications through Evolution Change Request (ECR) or Problem Change Report (PCR). That included functional and operational interactions requirements.
• Involved in workshops with the customer to analyse their needs. In particular contributed to critical functionalities including the Tower and En-Route positions.
• Wrote Contract Variation Proposals (CVP) to make propositions on new functionalities.

Joined the ACCS LOC1 NRT Team (16 engineers) for developing the Command and Control Resource Management application using an internal Java framework (Jason) co-developed between ThalesRaytheonSystems Massy and ThalesRaytheonSystems Fullerton.

• Wrote Graphical Specifications, System Level User Capabilities, Detail Design and Unit tests documents.
• Involved in the Agile Process.

2005 - 2008

Joined the ACCS LOC1 HMI Optimization Team (10 engineers). That consisted of programming components using Java technology (Swing/Java 2D) that are embedded in an XML controlled framework (HCLT).

• Helped System Engineering Team to finalize writing the software requirements (B-Level) of the Master Air Operation Planning application.
• Improved the existing HCLT framework by adding more complex and modern HMI components.
• In charge of the implementation (designing, coding, unit testing) of the Interactive Mission Flow Graph component, an editable graphical chart which displays task information in relation to time.
• Worked on the Jason framework consisting in a set of common libraries used to develop HMI written in Java and based on the Model-View-Controller pattern as well as on the Model-driven architecture. Especially implemented the Tree and Tree Table widgets and their controllers.
• Contributed to the development of the Air Tasking Order application in making the top-level design based on the Jason Framework.
• Involved in the CMMI process (ClearCase/ClearQuest) and in the Six Sigma methodology.

Worked as a contractor in the HMI Prototyping team (5 engineers) of the NATO ACCS LOC1 project consisting in providing a unified and integrated NATO European Air Defense system.
Involved in prototyping the HMI of the Air Mission Planning applications using Java technology (Swing /Java 2D).

• Added functionalities to the general graphic user interfaces which were already created.
• Designed and developed an Organizational Chart in order to display hierarchies of units.

Joined a team of 15 engineers responsible for the development of a border surveillance system for Latvia (BGGS Project). Worked on the client side of the application that manages the whole system using Java technology, UML, Design Patterns.

• Contributed to the development of the cartographic module to display watching areas and to follow the patrols’ position in mission in real time.
• Involved in the development of a maps administration tool for the cartographic module to be able to organize maps according to a hierarchical structure and to define their graphical representation.
• Wrote software requirements, designed, implemented and tested the embedded software module intended for light armor vehicles. Mainly in charge of a library that enables communication between the central server and the embedded software using a specific protocol.
• Carried out functional and no-regression tests.

Joined the Visualization department of the CATIA software (10 engineers), to develop a module of loading 3D assemblies for an Intranet / Internet solution.

• Involved in the development of a viewer, using C++ and MFC, to display parts of an assembly in optimizing the loading from the user point of view in order to start working on them before the end of the loading.
• Participated in the development of a local server in Java to manage the loading requests of the viewer and to load assemblies from a network.

• Development of a Java applet that integrates an explorer tree as a menu in order to be used in a web site.
• Conception of XML, DTD and XSL documents to generate dynamically forms in HTML from data stored in a database.
